Friendship shouldn’t need a calendar invite
ConnectCZ turns “we should hang out sometime” into this afternoon. Post a small invitation — a coffee, a walk, a game — and see who nearby is up for it.
No feed to perform for. No follower count to chase. 18+.
Wanna watch The Odyssey?
Good seats at IMAX got sold out pretty fast past few weeks…
Three taps between the thought and the plan
No organising, no ticketing, no waiting for someone else to schedule something.
Post an invitation
Say what you fancy doing, roughly where, and when. Set how many people you are up for — two is a perfectly good number.
See who is in
People nearby can join or ask a question first. You approve who comes along, and the group gets a chat to sort the details.
Stay in touch
Follow the people you clicked with. Next time either of you posts something, the other one sees it — that is how a one-off becomes a friendship.
You decide how far each invitation travels
Reach is set per invitation, not once in a settings screen you forget about.
Nearby
Anyone close enough to actually turn up. Good for meeting new people.
Followers
Only the people you have already met and chosen to keep up with.
Private
Just the people you invite by name. Nobody else sees it exists.
Your building, your campus, your office
By default ConnectCZ is your neighbourhood. A space narrows it to a community you are genuinely part of — where a shared context does most of the work of making a plan.
Schools & universities
Find the people on your course who are also free this afternoon.
Workplaces
Lunch, a walk, soccer after work — without a company-wide email.
Apartment buildings
Meet the neighbours you have been nodding at in the lift for a year.
Built for people who are careful about this
Meeting someone new should feel low-stakes. A few things we do about that.
Adults only
ConnectCZ is 18+. Accounts are verified by phone number at sign-up.
You choose who joins
Approve or decline every request, ask questions first, and block anyone without them being told.
Public places, roughly located
Invitations show an area rather than your doorstep, and our guidance is always to meet somewhere public.
Reporting that goes somewhere
Report a person or an invitation from inside the app. We read every report. See our CSAE standards.
Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. Posting and joining invitations is free for everyone, with no limit on how often. There is an optional Premium subscription that raises some limits — see the terms for what it includes.
Is this a dating app?
No. ConnectCZ is for friendship and everyday company — a walk, a coffee, a game, someone to go to the gym with. Invitations are usually small groups rather than one-to-one.
Do people see exactly where I am?
No. Location is used to work out what is near enough to be worth showing you. Invitations show an area and a meeting place you choose — never your live position or your home address.
What if nobody joins?
It happens, and it costs you nothing. Most invitations do better on a weekend or with a bit more notice. Joining someone else’s is the easiest way to start.
How do I get a space for my building or workplace?
You can request one from inside the app, or get in touch and we will set it up with you.
